Red Line Trains
Cleveland's underground subway metro system is known as the 'Red Line'. This provides one of the fastest links to downtown's Tower City Station, taking less than 30 minutes and making several stops along the way. The Red Line metro station is situated underneath the main terminal building, with regular services from early morning through to late at night. In central Cleveland's main train station there are additional metro routes available, as well as some buses.
Buses
Public buses at Hopkins Airport are operated by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) and are is use when the Red Line trains are not running. The bus service RTA66S travels into central Cleveland, while Greyhound buses, Oberlin Shuttles and the Super Express Shuttle Service provide additional choice. Airport shuttles are managed by the Hopkins Transportation Services.

Dedicated taxis are to be found outside of the baggage reclaim level, next to Carousel 11, with the journey from CLE Airport into Cleveland city centre taking approximately 20 to 30 minutes, provided that traffic levels are reasonable. Recommended taxi firms include Ace Taxis, Americab Taxis and the Yellow Taxi Cab Company. The rates are based upon metered mileage. After hours, you may need to phone the taxi firm to arrange your pickup.
